The Brazilian Resource Center

is an extension of Redeemer Church Planting Center's vision in NYC. Thus to understand the heart and vision of the Brazil Center, one must understand what has been the vision and passion of the New York Center. Pastor Tim Keller, senior pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, has described this vision in a number of short videos, in the "vision and values" section of their home site. You may also watch a short summary video by Dr Keller, here.

At the center of Redeemer, both the church and church-planting center, is its affirmation that Christ desires to reign on earth, not only in a future, physical sense, but also in the present age, in the hearts of people around the world.

That is, the Gospel has a transformational dimension,

freeing the individual from the death grip of sin and Satan, and also potentially freeing whole cities, through the transformation of many people by the Gospel message. To pray "thy kingdom come" is to understand and desire this full expression of Christ's reign, in the hearts of mankind, in our cities, and someday, over our whole world.

CEBRAPI (Centro Brasileiro de Plantação de Igrejas):

The Brazil project will mirror the Redeemer Center in ethos, gospel values and urban city focus. CEBRAPI, however, will have its own directors, budget, training, assessment, and coaching structures. That is, it will be a contextualized model (as opposed to an imported model).

The remainder of this site

will be given to resources and information for people interested in joining the support team of this exciting venture to reach Brazil's largest cities. Please feel free to look around and to contact Bryan with any questions or comments that you may have.
